ENERGY EFFICIENCY CLASSES
Energy efficiency classes in a nutshell:
Energy efficiency classes evaluate the luminous efficacy of illuminants based on the luminous flux produced per power consumed. This means that products are not only classified according to their energy consumption, but also according to their luminous efficacy. The new classes, from A to G, provide loads with clearer guidance and help to identify the most energy-efficient options.

The energy efficiency classes are calculated according to the luminous efficacy of the illuminants. This describes how much luminous flux (lumens) can be obtained from the power (watts). Due to this new assessment method, it is not possible to translate the old efficiency classes to the latest ones. Each light source must therefore be recalculated.
The entire ISOLED® product range complies with the EU directives for LED illuminants (EPREL).
EU Regulation 2017/1369 stipulates, among other things, that all illuminants must be labeled.
The energy label divides the illuminants into 7 classes: A for "very efficient" to G ("less efficient") as the lowest valid class.
EPREL (European Product Database for Energy Labeling)
are regulations that govern the labeling and monitoring of energy-efficient products in the European Union. They are intended to ensure transparency and comparability by obliging manufacturers to provide certain information about their products.
The QR code on the energy label allows loads to easily access detailed information about the product in the European product database. By scanning the QR code with a smartphone, they can access data on energy efficiency, performance and other technical specifications, for example. This promotes transparency and makes it easier for loads to make informed decisions when buying energy-efficient products.
